|
|
Is there a way to display a list of all pending jobs? I'd like to be able to see what's coming up next. With several scheduled and timed jobs pending, I'd like to be able to see at a glance what's in the queue for the next hour or so (sorted at least by time).
That way I can be sure the resources are available (e.g. external hard drive or network server), and I can also see the effects of all the various options on the overall job scheduling.
I searched the FAQ and forum and did not see this, but I suspect I just haven't found it yet. If it's not available, perhaps you'd consider moving this to the suggestion box.
Thanks

Try the Calendar button on the Rules page. _________________ Doug Johnson, Software Author

It doesn't appear to show any timed backups, only scheduled ones, but that is still useful.
I was looking for something nearer term, say, the next 24 hours, and showing all scheduled and timed backups in that period. This might have helped me track down why timed backups weren't running initially. Another idea might be to just add another column in the Backup Jobs display called something like "Next expected run".
But thanks for pointing out the calendar; I will make use of that feature. This program has an amazing wealth of options! Great work!
Thanks

Timed backups don't really run on a schedule. They run xxx minutes after the last time they were run, or xxx minutes after FileBack PC starts. It really has nothing to do with the actual clock time. So including this trigger on the calendar really isn't possible. _________________ Doug Johnson, Software Author
